The angle iron on the front of the sidecar should provide a sliding surface to any obstacles and may be used for a mounting platform at a later date if any additional protection is needed.

The angle iron is strong and simple, if at a later date I want to mount some sort of shield to the front of the sidecar it will be easy to mount if off of the angle iron.

I used a chunk of angle iron to finish off the front end of the sidecar body, I reinforced the ends with steel plate.

One of these stainless steel band clamps is used on each end of the flex pipe and another one is used to secure the exhaust pipe into the muffler.

The muffler mount is welded and bolted to the hack frame, the muffler is bolted in place, the main exhaust pipe is temporarily installed.
