Mr-Cob > When I first got into VIetnam, I drove a five ton truck, hauling ammo to the troops in the field. Here I am passing an ox cart on Hwy. #13.
Mr-Cob > Hwy. #13 heading northwest out of Lai Khe.
Mr-Cob > Driving into the village of Chon Thanh.
Mr-Cob > This is a guard tower and bunker located on the outer perimeter of our base camp at Pho Loi.
Mr-Cob > The convoy has stopped on Hwy. #13. There are choppers on the right side of the road they are probably dropping of troops or supplies that we needed.
Mr-Cob > This is what the convoy looked like from my Track.
Mr-Cob > This was taken on Hwy. #13, as a convoy was headed Northest. A truck has just passed a group of ox carts that have pulled off to the side of the road.
Mr-Cob > Here's my 1999 Harley Road King Classic. Before I got the Beemer, I used the Road King Classic, as my main over the road bike as you can see a person can haul a lot of stuff on this ole Hog. I like the RKC, for it's long haul comfort, the way I have the bike set up it's easy to do anywhere from 500 to 1,000 mile days. In fact I earned my membership in the "Iron Butt Association" ( Member number 4510 ) by riding 1,555 miles in less then 24 hours on the RKC, don't tell me Harley's can't cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time.
