Mr-Cob > Infantry supported by the Cav. moving through a burning village after a fire fight.
Mr-Cob > Here we are moving out of an area that we were fighting in, notice how shot up all of the trees are.
Mr-Cob > The 3rd Plt. moving to contact in the Iron Triangle, notice the huge bomb crater in the foreground.
Mr-Cob > This was probably taken while we were moving on Hwy. #13, ( Thunder Road ). Notice the towel wrapped around the M-60 machine gun mounted on top of the Flame Thrower, the towel was used to keep the dust out of the gun while on the move, it was put on in such a way as it could be snapped off and the gun immediately put into use. Also notice how we carried our C-Rations, water cans, Ammo and other gear on top of the Track, this provided added protection during a fire fight and allowed more room inside the Track for the crew.
