This is my 1998 Yamaha YZF-R1. I was one of the first folks in my area to get one of these screamers, I honestly think the Blue 98 R1's, are the most beautiful Sport Bike ever made. This bike even after all these years still scares me when I ride it, maybe that's why it's still in one piece and I am still alive.
I had a chance to trade my R1 for a Hayabusa a couple of years back, looking back I wish I had done so. I love the R1 but at darn near 60 years old it's getting hard to ride for any distance, the Hayabusa would more then satisfy my need for speed and be a lot more comfortable to ride. I had a ZX-11D and still miss that bike, someday I'll get me a hayabusa.
